The Camp Connell Store is on the way back to Arnold. There is a gas station and a very simple, small general store there.

In Dorrington, there is the Dorrington General Store right next to the historical Dorrington Hotel & Restaurant.

The big grocery store is Big Trees Market in Arnold at the Meadowmont Center. They have a deli, fresh seafood, produce, some health food items, etc.

Up in Bear Valley there is the Bear Valley General Store.

To rent videos or DVD's, go to Video Box Office in Arnold. Look for the big yellow sign on the right at the first set of shops as you go into town from the cabin. They have a better selection of DVD's. There is also video rental next to Big Trees Market. It's called Phat Kats Video but you won't see that name outside.

There is a great little Espresso shop called Bistro Espresso & Dessert in the Meadowmont Center. They also have ice cream, and they carry the Bagel Barn's delicious bagels.

Check out Murphys Bagel Barn in the up-and-coming town of Murphy's. It's at 140 Main St. right at the end of Main St. Look for the sign when you are about to turn left to get back onto Hwy 4 in Murphy's on your way up to the cabin. Definitely worth it. There are also a lot of nice looking shops, restaurants, historical sights, and even live music on weekend evenings.
